Prior to joining The Rosen Law Firm, Mr. Kim served as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York in the Special Federal Litigation Division. In that position, Mr. Kim defended a number of class action lawsuits and handled over 140 individual actions in Federal Court from inception to conclusion– including high profile wrongful death and police shooting cases. Mr. Kim also first chaired several jury trials.
Mr. Kim joined The Rosen Law Firm in 2005. He focuses his practice on securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation. Mr. Kim has a wealth of experience from vertically prosecuting securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation.

Shareholder Derivative Litigation
Mr. Kim has also secured a number significant recoveries in shareholder derivative litigation. Recently, Mr. Kim, as co-lead counsel in the SeaWorld Entertainment, Inc. derivative litigation, secured a $12.5 million cash payment to SeaWorld and caused SeaWorld to institute targeted corporate reforms. Kistenmacher v. Atchison, et al., 10437-VCS (Del. Ch.). Mr. Kim was co-lead counsel in Virginia state court and helped secure a $10 million cash payment for comScore and causing comScore to institute a vast array of reforms to its corporate governance.
