{"id":2753,"date":"2022-01-25T17:14:17","date_gmt":"2022-01-25T17:14:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rosen.flywheelsites.com\/?post_type=case&#038;p=2753"},"modified":"2022-03-21T17:21:45","modified_gmt":"2022-03-21T17:21:45","slug":"firstcash-inc","status":"publish","type":"case","link":"https:\/\/rosenlegal.com\/case\/firstcash-inc\/","title":{"rendered":"FirstCash, Inc."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the lawsuit, defendants throughout the Class Period made false and\/or misleading statements and\/or failed to disclose that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">FirstCash had made more than 3,600 loans to over 1,000 active-duty members of the military and their families at usurious interest rates above 36% \u2013 and often exceeding 200% \u2013 in violation of the Military Lending Act (\u201cMLA\u201d) and a consent order (the \u201cOrder\u201d) with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (\u201cCFPB\u201d); <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">FirstCash had failed to implement the remedial measures imposed by the Order;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">FirstCash\u2019s financial results were, in substantial part, the product of FirstCash\u2019s violations of the MLA and the Order; and<\/span><\/li>\n<li>as a result, FirstCash was exposed to a material undisclosed risk of legal, reputational, and financial harm if FirstCash\u2019s violations of the MLA and the Order were ever publicly disclosed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No Class Has Been Certified.
