The Rosen Law Firm has filed a securities class action lawsuit on behalf of investors that purchased NutraCea stock during the period from August 14, 2007 through February 23, 2009. The lawsuit allege that NutraCea issued false financial statements that overstated its revenue by $4.6 million or nearly 25%. When NutraCea announced that it would have to restate its financial statements to correct for the revenue overstatement, the price of NutraCea dropped, damaing investors.
