A class action law suit has been filed on behalf Hemispherx Biopharma investors that purchased stock from February 18, 2009 to October 30, 2009. The lawsuit alleges that Hemispherx misled investors as to the status and timeframe for approval of its new drug application for Ampligen. When the Company belatedly disclosed that the FDA had raised additoinal issues and requested additional information on Hemispherx's new drug application, the stock dropped substantially, damaging investors.
