A class action lawsuit has been filed against Repros Therapeutics and certain of its officers alleging violations of the federal securites laws on behalf of purchasers of Repros Therapeutics stock during the period from July 1, 2009 and August 3, 2009. The lawsuit alleges that Repros concealed the extent of the serious adverse events suffered by patients in its clinical trials for the drug Proellex. On August 3, 2009 the Company announced that it was suspending all further dosing of Proellex in the clinical trials as a result of the serious adverse events. The August 3rd announcement disclosed that the adverse events were more frequent and more serious than the Company had previously reported. As a result of this adverse news, the Company’s stock fell over 70%.
